We are a small, family-owned company from the Czech Republic specializing in handcrafted cat trees. Our journey began in 2017 when we built our first cat tree from a tree trunk for our own cats. The result impressed not only us but also our friends and acquaintances, who started asking where they could get a similar one. This marked the start of our path, during which we continuously improved our skills and craftsmanship to reach where we are today. For the first seven years, we focused solely on producing tree-based cat trees, which we personally delivered across the Czech Republic due to their substantial size and weight. In early 2025, we introduced modular cat trees that can be shipped via courier services, even though some models weigh around 80 kg. This development led to the creation of our e-shop, through which customers from 24 European Union countries can order our modular R1–R14 models or smaller cat trees. All our cat trees are meticulously handcrafted in the Czech Republic, ensuring quality and attention to detail from start to finish. We design our cat trees to be not only visually appealing but also functional and practical. That’s why each of our cat trees features a removable and washable faux fur cover that can be cleaned at 30°C—a detail appreciated by every cat lover. Our largest cat tree incorporates approximately 350 meters of sisal rope, which is roughly equivalent to 3.5 times the length of a football field.
We currently have 2 cats (Princess and Cassie). Our first cat (Princess) was from a shelter where we adopted her. She became the most grateful cat, but we didn’t want her to be home alone while we were at work, so we got her a friend (Cassie), who is a British Longhair cat. She is also a sweetheart, because Princess raised her. But Cassie grew up to be twice as heavy as Princess and destroyed the scratching posts from the pet store within 1 month. Scratching posts neither pretty nor cheap, so we thought about what kind of scratching post to choose or make that would be stylish and practical and last for many years, and that’s when the idea of making a scratching post out of wood came to mind.
Even before we launched the Folding Scratchers (R1-R14) at the beginning of 2025, we spent a long time thinking about what the scratching posts would look like, how to arrange the sisal post, etc. How to ensure that the scratching posts were really sturdy and self-standing.
How did we achieve this?
We proceeded exactly as if we were making each scratching post for our cats. We wanted a lot of sisal, large resting areas and a wonderful look. We used only the highest quality material and, most importantly, we do everything by hand and with love. We use extra wide paper post for the sisal post, which makes the scratching post perfectly stable. All beds are made of wood and the fur is soft, designer and, most importantly, removable and washable.
